Grass cutting is an essential task that is carried out by trained staff who endeavour to keep your area looking tidy and well maintained.

There are four general grass cutting rounds in operation across the Borough of Poole. Information on these and an update on progress can be accessed using the links above.

We also use a bespoke electronic work programming system to schedule the cutting of banks, areas that are difficult to access and other places such as wildflower meadows and dual carriageways.

In winter we undertake a programme of path edging where we remove grass that has grown over onto footpaths. This work is carried out once the grass has stopped growing and follows the four general grass cutting routes.

An up to date fleet of ride-on mowers and tractor-mounted equipment is used across the Borough.
