We have a grass cutting team dedicated to the provision of the service at senior citizens' flats and bungalows. Your grass will be cut every 2 weeks depending upon weather conditions This team operates separately from the standard grass cutting crew but still works within the four wards of the Riverside area - Myton, Drypool, St Andrews and Newington.
The frequency of visits to each property is scheduled to be every ten working days. This is subject to changes brought about by unsuitable weather conditions. Our contract does not include the collection of grass clippings from the grounds of flats or bungalows. However, grass clippings should be cleared from footpaths. This is usually done on completion of work at an entire site when the clippings will be swept or blown back onto the main grass surface. It is not environmentally acceptable to remove large volumes of grass cuttings to landfill sites. Our grass cutting schedule can be adversely affected by locked or barricaded access gates or by the presence of obstructions such as garden ornaments and other items which may have to be moved to allow work to take place. We can however remove and replace wheelie bins. |
