Continental Landscapes Ltd is a nationwide landscape maintenance and construction specialist.
We have enjoyed a close working relationship with Kingston upon Hull City Council since 1991, during which time we have been involved in a number of projects including the management of the city centre and Riverside area. Continental Landscapes is responsible for all horticultural features in the Riverside area, from grass mowing and litter clearance, to the planting and maintenance of formal bedding plants across the city and the provision of floral displays for civic functions in Hull's historic Guildhall. Our involvement with the spectacular floral displays in Queens Gardens, and at other sites in the city, has helped Hull to success in several Britain in Bloom competitions over recent years. Our maintenance teams care for the grounds at one of the city's most important buildings, the home of William Wilberforce on High Street. We are also responsible for horticultural maintenance of all housing estates, play areas, public open spaces, parks and trees throughout the Riverside area. We maintain the ponds and green spaces at Victoria Dock Village, on the banks of the River Humber, in the city centre and we are responsible for the upkeep of West Park, which provides the setting for the new KC stadium. |
