Continental Landscapes Ltd - Clean Green and Safe
ABOUT US
Our work in Fenland covers over 200 square miles including the four main towns of Wisbech, March, Whittlesey, Chatteris and many smaller villages from Tydd St Giles in the north to Manea in the south.

We carry out tasks including grass cutting, shrub , rose and flower bed maintenance, hedge cutting, hard surface spraying on amenity and housing areas and grave digging . All of this work helps to maintain the appearance of the green spaces and places that the public see and use every day.

There are around 30 people working across Fenland in the peak season, operating in teams divided between the north and south of the area.

There are two supervisors,  one each for the north and south of the area and the administration team is based in the main office at Wisbech. There is also a sub depot in March from which most of the southern teams operate.

Wisbech is the most northerly and largest of the towns. It hosts the Rose Fair every year in July and local amenities include Wisbech Park, with tennis courts, bowls green and football pitch. More formal gardens can be found at St Peter’s church, which is the focus of the Rose Fair. These gardens have enjoyed much success in the East Anglia in Bloom competition over the last two years, something that we have great pride in being associated with.

March is the central town of the area and is the administrative centre for Fenland District Council. West End Park is the largest of the local parks and has a beautiful riverside setting, surrounded by local amenities for young and old alike.

Chatteris is the most southerly point in Fenland and the smallest of the four towns. Recently entered into the East Anglia In Bloom competition the local Town Council has really taken it to heart and has pulled out all the stops to make a big impression. Regular fetes and fairs are held on the Wenny Road Recreation ground.

Whittlesey is the most western point and is situated near the outskirts of Peterborough. The main facilities are around the Leisure Centre on Station Road, with a more formal and peaceful area at the garden of rest, also on Station Road near the town centre.
