Westminster North - Congratulations
Level 2 & 3 National Vocational Qualification
Last year we enrolled 6 members of staff into the NVQ level 2 & 3 in Amenity Horticulture course offered by Abingdon and Whitney college. The course is part of the governments Train to Gain scheme. All 6 candidates passed and the certificates were presented to the staff in a small presentation earlier in the week.
Our Westminster client officer, Barry Haynes was quoted as saying how impressed he was with John Revis, the Abingdon and Whitney course instructor and how well the students worked in obtaining the qualification.
I was impressed with the fact the students went off in their own time to study the plant identification list and to make an illustrated booklet to which they could constantly refer.
The following staff were awarded the NVQ 2 in Amenity Horticulture:
Kazadi Mukoka, Jarick Bittmer, Jansen Peters, Gocho Ivanov, Marcin Strekowiec Arben Llapastica was awarded the NVQ 3 in Amenity Horticulture.
